Usain Bolt welcomes his newborn twin sons Thunder and Saint Leo

Sprinter Usain Bolt has had twin sons named Thunder Bolt and Saint Leo.

Bolt, 34 announced the news on Instagram on Father’s Day, adding a lightning bolt emoji next to each son’s name.

The Olympic champion posted a photo of him and partner Cassie Bennett with their twin sons and one-year-old daughter Olympia Lightning.

The couple did not say exactly when the twins were born.

Bennett also posted a photo with the babies and said Bolt was “the rock of this family and the best dad to our little ones.”

Before the birth, Bolt used his social media to inform his followers about Bennett’s pregnancy. However, neither he nor Bennett ever posted about their pregnancy with the twins.

Bolt, a Jamaican sprinting icon who retired from athletics in 2017, still holds the world records in the 100m and 200m and is the fastest man in history.

He is also the only person to have won 3 Olympic 100m titles and 23 major gold medals in his career.

After quitting athletics, he tried his hand at professional football, but later announced that he would quit the sport altogether in 2019.

Bolt is not the first celebrity to use a play on words when naming his children.

In 2013, Kanye West and wife Kim Kardashian West, who are now separate, made headlines when they named their daughter North West.
